We are now going to bring together the bowing exercises. Please remember the 6 bowing rules and run the bow from grip end to tail end and then back again along with this video.

In this lesson you will bow on the ‘ma’ string This is the leftmost string as you look at it and the rightmost string as someone siting opposite you will see it.
You do not need to play the frets. Rest your left hand on the knee.
Bow from grip to tip in the space of 8 talas, so you have bowed 8 talas per bow (tpb). As you bow watch the talas numbers flashing up on the tabla app. They should begin with a pull at 1,2,3,4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and then 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 on the push. All the while, remain alert to the bowing and sitting rules. It may help to sit in front of a mirror and periodically watch how you are seated/bowing.
