This course enables you to learn Indian classical music with ease and from the convenience of your own home at a pace that suits you. 

Once all the modules are completed there will be an assessment before progressing onto the next course. You must pass this assessment. The assessment will comprise a one to one (online) assessment with a senior tutor. You will be asked to play several pieces from the course. The exact assessment details will be provided in advance to help you prepare

You cannot start the course without an instrument. Please do not enrol until you have an instrument.

We recommend that you speak with friends and family in case you’re able to borrow an instrument in the short term. If you would like to purchase an instrument; we’ll gladly help advise you. We have trusted suppliers where you can purchase high-quality instruments. Please use the contact us link if you need assistance in obtaining an instrument. 

First of all, you need to create a Student Dashboard by clicking the “Register Now” button or any of the “Register” links on our log-in forms.

Once you are registered choose your course and click the “Enrol Now” or “Take this Course” on the course page.

To enrol on this course, you will need to complete an application form; be approved by one of our Tutors and make payment. Simply complete the application form and a tutor will get back to you with payment details.

Once your application and payment are complete, you will be given an Enrolment Code to enter on your Student Dashboard to gain access to the course.

For “Advanced” or “Follow-on” Courses, you must complete the course pre-requisites and have had a successful assessment from one of our Tutors before you can enrol.

The beginner’s course is focused on instrument proficiency. You do not need to know Punjabi/Gurmukhi or have any previous musical knowledge.

The course is carefully structured. Each module develops the basic skills with difficulty level increasing as you move through the modules. Only once a student has completed the first beginner’s course can they progress further.

We encourage all prospective students to read all content and watch videos related to learning tanti-saaj and the online course. If, at any point, you still have questions, then please contact us: [email protected]. Once you’re satisfied, only then should a student register for the course. We recommend they complete the entire course. If for whatever reason you decide not to complete the course, please contact us at [email protected] to discuss any refunds that may be due.
